Job Details:

• Work in Intensive Care Unit with 2-3 patient ratio experience required

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required

• Travel experience required

• Must be willing to float to MS/Tele and ER for critical care holds

• Weekend coverage required with one pre-approved time off allowed per contract

• Care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients

• Daily census of 15 patients in 20-bed unit

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIH, 6 hours stroke education, EKG course completion

• Charting system experience required with Cerner preferred

• Community hospital experience preferred

• Trauma Level II experience preferred

• Must have competencies in neuro intensive care, surgical intensive care, cardiac procedures, ventilator management, and critical care monitoring

• Skills required include arterial line management, vasoactive drip titration, post-surgical care, and emergency medication administration

• Local candidates within 50-mile radius not accepted
