Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

Certified Surgical Tech - CVOR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM

• On-call responsibilities required

• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS

• Must be certified as Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) following completion of CAAHEP-accredited program

• Prepare operating room including sterile field setup with surgical equipment, supplies, and solutions

• Pass instruments, fluids, and supplies to surgeon during procedures

• Prepare and manage surgical equipment throughout procedures

• Maintain sterile field and handle specimens appropriately

• Perform accurate counts of sponges and supplies to prevent foreign retained objects

• Work in cardiovascular operating room environment

• Must have completed programmatically-accredited surgical technology program

• Must have passed national CST examination administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
