Description:

Start date within the next 3-5 weeks preferred.
Schedule is Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
The focus is on outpatient settings, with possible flexibility to acute care.
Weekend and holiday coverage in acute care may be required.
Willing to set up interviews if desired by the candidate.
Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Daily patient census ranges from 6 to 8 patients, with an average of 8 visits per day.
Experience in various therapies is preferred, including cardiopulmonary, neurology, oncology, and sports medicine.
Knowledge of assistive devices, body mechanics, and pain assessment is crucial.
Familiarity with chronic conditions such as COPD and CHF is necessary.
Skills in gait training, prosthetic training, and post-operative rehabilitation are essential.
Understanding of specific therapies, such as aquatic therapy, is preferred.
The role requires effective time management and communication skills with patients and families.
Safety and injury prevention knowledge is also important for patient care.
