Medical Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team in Odessa, TX. The ideal candidate will provide clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office and high-quality patient care.

• Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens as needed.
• Administer medications and injections under physician supervision.
• Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is a plus.
• Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

This position is based in a medical office setting in Odessa, TX. The role requires standing for extended periods, occasional lifting of medical supplies, and direct patient interaction.
