Position summaryThe Data Center Operations Manager owns physical infrastructure at GPU One (GPUaaS) sites including power, cooling, security, and smart-hands services. The role is the operational owner of colocation and owned-site facility relationships and the first line of defense against physical-layer incidents.
Key responsibilitiesManage day-to-day operations of colocation and owned data center sites
Coordinate with colocation partners on power, cooling, and facility issues
Manage smart-hands and remote-hands services and SLAs with site providers
Oversee physical security including access controls, badge management, and audit logs
Maintain capacity planning models for power, cooling, and rack space
Coordinate with Field Engineering on installation logistics and site readiness
Manage site-level vendors including electrical, HVAC, security, and janitorial
Maintain DCIM, environmental monitoring, and physical asset inventory accuracy
Support audits (SOC 2, customer site visits, insurance inspections)
Participate in on-call rotation for site emergencies and outages
6+ years in data center operations or facilities management
Strong understanding of power distribution, cooling architecture, and DC physical infrastructure
Experience managing colocation relationships and SLAs
CDCP, CDCS, or equivalent data center certification
Demonstrated vendor and contractor management experience
Modular data center (MDC) operational experience
Experience operating high-density GPU or HPC sites (30 kW+ per rack)
Liquid cooling experience (rear-door, direct-to-chip, or immersion)
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
