Overall roles and responsibilities
In this highly transactional role reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Buyer is responsible for supporting Supply Chain activities and initiatives within the organization.
Essential Functions- Responsible for setup and maintenance of vendor records and legal documentation.
- Solicit quotations and create purchase orders for non‑inventory tools and services, well head and rental equipment according to the Supply Chain Manager.
- Create purchase orders for other materials and supplies as needed.
- Review and manage part revisions on all purchase orders, including Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) communication with vendors.
- Routinely review and follow up on open purchase orders and update status of pending orders as needed.
- Serve as point of contact for purchase order and paperwork related issues.
- Input and manage international container and logistics tracking information.
- Ensure all monthly expenses are recognized.
- Perform other administrative duties as needed.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full‑time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
TravelSome travel may be required to vendor sites or other field locations as needed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Two to three years of experience in a similar role.
- Computer skills including working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office products.
- Experience working with wellheads and similar oilfield equipment preferred.
- Some API 6A knowledge/experience.
