Maintenance Technician

Talascend is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Odessa, Texas
.

Maintains and repairs all equipment and premises according to the maintenance plan to ensure the continuity of production in the manufacturing center.

• Ensures the preventive maintenance and repair of plants and equipment according to the plan within maintenance and HSES procedures.
• Finds faults and identifies the best methods for rectification (direct repair or escalation) in a timely manner.
• Keeps records of maintenance operations, making reports, and proposing procedures improvement.
• Uses and maintains correct tooling and equipment and reports damages.

• HS diploma or GED equivalent
• From 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment

• Professional education in the discipline.
• Legal certification for electrical work.
• Capacity to make decisions autonomously, coaching more junior staff, and interacting with industrialization for procedure improvements.
• Ensures knowledge of preventive maintenance of all tools.
• Anticipates & alerts their hierarchy of any incoherencies or incompatibilities between planning / progress / guidelines.
• Small troubleshooting.

M-F: 6am-4:30pm
