Location:
Odessa, TX
Assemble, test and paint wellhead equipment.
Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities- Practice safe work habits and comply with all quality, safety, health and environmental policies, procedures, programs and regulations.
- Inspect, operate and test completed products to verify functioning and conformance to requirements.
- Position and/or align components for assembly, manually or using hoists.
- Torque connections using manual and hydraulic torque wrenches.
- Adjust, repair, rework, or replace parts and assemblies to eliminate malfunctions and to ensure proper operation.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings or standard operating procedures.
- Maintain and lubricate parts or components.
- Operate a forklift for material handling needs.
- Perform other regular duties as assigned or requested.
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations- None required
Knowledge of wellhead equipment preferred.
Preferred Skills- 3+ Years’ experience in Oil and Gas preferred
- Experience with Drilling and Production equipment
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands- Regularly required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus required.
- Normally work in an inspection and assembly area.
- Occasionally may be exposed to hazards such as loud noise, heavy equipment, temperature extremes, electrical equipment, high pressure testing.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Basic Computer Acumen
