Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Visually inspect machines, equipment, and verbal descriptions by operators to locate causes of malfunctions.
  • Conduct plant inspections and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Install and/or assemble machinery and equipment according to blueprints and other drawings.
  • Perform diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repairs on Batch Panels as needed.
  • Remove and replace malfunctioning motors and pumps and realign and adjust such components.
  • Perform operations on shop equipment such as grinders, ban saws, cut off saws, drill press, forklifts, cranes, etc.
  • Maintain established housekeeping standards at all times, keeping work area and equipment clean and orderly.
  • Perform work in all areas of the plant using appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain strict adherence to company policies, safety policies, and OSHA regulations at all times.
  • Possess a professional attitude while interacting with peers, contractors and the general public.
  • Be available to travel and work from other company facilities as needed.
  • Stand for long periods performing tests in hot or current conditions.
  • May perform other related duties as required or directed, including travel to other facilities.
Requirements
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of machine diagnosis and repairs, and preventative maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of both electrical and hydraulic systems and components.
  • Basic knowledge of welding and light fabrication.
  • Ability to communicate, understand, and follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays when necessary; regular and timely attendance is required.
  • Must pass pre-employment requirements, drug screen, criminal background check and driving record review.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety

  • Must possess a valid and current Driver’s License or equivalent.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in the repair of manufacturing plants is highly desired.
