Quality Technician
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Technician to join our team, specializing in the inspection and verification of pipe joining, fittings, and valves. This role involves checking blueprints, verifying documents, and ensuring procedures are streamlined to optimize manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative tasks, including documentation and computer logging, as well as inspecting pipes, valves, fittings, and couplings to ensure they meet specified standards.
Responsibilities- Check blueprints and verify documents to streamline manufacturing processes.
- Perform administrative tasks, including documentation using both written and computer logging.
- Inspect pipes, valves, fittings, and couplings to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Coordinate with managers to document and maintain standards.
- Minimum of 5 years in Quality Assurance.
- Experience in dimensional inspection.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints.
- Experience in pipe manufacturing and fabrication.
- Knowledge in documentation and computer ERP systems.
- Competence in quality assurance testing and document control.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft, ERP, SAP, Mendix.
- Experience with measuring equipment like calipers and micrometers.
- Familiarity with GMP standards.
- Excellent tenure and willingness to relocate to Dallas for extensive training.

Work EnvironmentWork in a clean manufacturing environment that is non-climate controlled but equipped with large fans. The facility includes an assembly/fabrication side as well as a warehouse distribution side, with approximately 12 total shop employees. Employees work first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime and weekend hours based on production needs. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, work shirts, safety glasses, and high visibility vests.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Odessa, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
