Work Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 10‑hour shifts weekly starting at 5:00 am to 3:00 pm.

General Responsibilities

The Rubber Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring production press equipment to manufacture quality components that meet company specifications. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail‑oriented, and committed to producing high‑quality work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Specific Tasks and Duties
  • Set up and operate press equipment according to production schedules and work instructions.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Inspect parts and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning activities.
  • Identify equipment malfunctions and notify supervisors or maintenance personnel as needed.
  • Read and interpret production orders, work instructions, blueprints, and measurement tools.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Ensure materials are properly loaded, positioned, and handled throughout the production process.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with housekeeping standards.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or press operation experience preferred.
  • Experience operating hydraulic, mechanical, or punch press equipment.
  • Experience in a metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Operating hydraulic presses which includes setup, running and monitoring parts.
