Work ScheduleMonday – Thursday: 10‑hour shifts weekly starting at 5:00 am to 3:00 pm.
General ResponsibilitiesThe Rubber Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring production press equipment to manufacture quality components that meet company specifications. This position plays a critical role in maintaining production efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail‑oriented, and committed to producing high‑quality work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Specific Tasks and Duties- Set up and operate press equipment according to production schedules and work instructions.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
- Inspect parts and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning activities.
- Identify equipment malfunctions and notify supervisors or maintenance personnel as needed.
- Read and interpret production orders, work instructions, blueprints, and measurement tools.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Ensure materials are properly loaded, positioned, and handled throughout the production process.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with housekeeping standards.

Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read measuring devices such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or press operation experience preferred.
- Experience operating hydraulic, mechanical, or punch press equipment.
- Experience in a metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Operating hydraulic presses which includes setup, running and monitoring parts.
