The Shop Manager is responsible for providing daily leadership to team members, maintaining current shop procedure and scheduling. This position works closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial, quality, support and that all compliances are met.
JOBRESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary Focus is to track, rebuild, and maintain motor and running tool inventory.
- Establish and supervise the motor and running tool rebuild process.
- Manage all shop hands assisting in motor and running tool rebuilds.
- Regulate shop inventory and motor / running tool supplies.
- Oversee entire motor / running tool inventory – knowing how many clean and dirty motors / running tools there are at all times.
- Manage the transportation and delivery method of motors / running tools to our mobile locations.
- Participate in “on-call” responsibilities.
- Maintain all HSE protocols and ensure that all responsibilities are up to date.
- Maintain purchase orders.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
- High School diploma or equivalent work experience
- 2+ Years’ Shop experience in building Down-Hole Tools / Mud Motors
- Ability to lead others.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of all aspects of motors and running tools
- Ability to multi-task
- Basic computer/laptop skills
- Must be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must have current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times.
