Registered Nurse

Actalent is looking for a registered nurse located in Odessa to support an Oncology clinic.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

Compensation: $35-$45 per hour (based on experience)

Overview:

Our oncology clinic in Odessa is seeking a compassionate and skilled Infusion Nurse to join our care team. This role focuses on providing high‑quality infusion services to oncology patients in a supportive outpatient environment. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, patient‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced clinical setting.

Key responsibilities:

+ Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other IV infusions in accordance with provider orders and safety protocols

+ Monitor patients for infusion reactions and provide appropriate interventions

+ Perform venipuncture, access ports, and maintain central lines

+ Document all treatments, assessments, and patient interactions accurately in the EMR

+ Collaborate with oncologists, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care

+ Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and post‑infusion care

+ Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant infusion environment

+ Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and oncology‑specific safety standards

Qualifications:

+ Active RN license in the state of Texas

+ Previous infusion or oncology experience preferred (but strong IV skills may be considered)

+ OCN certification is a plus

+ Strong assessment and critical‑thinking skills

+ Excellent communication and patient‑care abilities

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
