Provide nursing care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit at a hospital setting. Duties include patient monitoring, medication administration, documentation, and floating to other Med/Surg/Telemetry units as assigned.

• Active Texas RN license or a compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Prior travel nursing experience strongly required
• Certifications:
  
  BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – NIHSS must be obtained prior to start
• 2 supervisor references from the last 3 years of employment required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Facility conducts an onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana; a positive result results in automatic cancellation

• Patient ratios up to 6:1
• Facility may offer 36/48‑hour alternating or straight 48‑hour schedules
• Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined
