• Provide obstetrical care during critical phases: antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal care.
• Apply the Nursing Process aligned with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care.
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education initiatives.
• Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
