Position Summary for LVN
Functions as a staff nurse under the guidance and supervision of an experienced R.N. Performs routine patient care assignments and carries out established nursing procedures utilizing the nursing process.
EducationHold a current Texas license as a Registered Nurse ( BSN preferred) or holds a current Texas license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
Training and Experience- Neonate Resuscitation Program (NRP) through the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire or transfer or upon addition of unit to profile.
- Neonate Resuscitation Program (NRP) through the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire or transfer or upon addition of unit to profile.
- STABLE course within 6 months of hire or transfer or upon addition of unit to profile.
- Neonate Resuscitation Program (NRP) through the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire or transfer or upon addition of unit to profile.
- Neonate Resuscitation Program (NRP) through the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire addition of unit to profile.
- STABLE course within 6 months of hire or transfer or upon addition of unit to profile.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire or transfer or upon addition of unit to profile.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire or transfer or upon addition of unit to profile.
- TCAR or TNCC within 12 months of hire or transfer or upon addition of unit to profile.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association within 6 months of hire or transfer or upon addition of unit to profile.
- TNCC within 18 months of hire or transfer or upon addition of unit to profile.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association within 12 months of hire or transfer or upon addition of unit to profile.
