Registered Nurse (RN) / Emergency Department

Odessa, Texas

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

• Provide shift-based nursing care to Emergency Department patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and ongoing professional development
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care in the Emergency Department

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in accordance with applicable state requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Current TNCC certification required
• Current Stroke certification required

• Experience working in high-volume or Level I/II trauma Emergency Departments
• Strong ability to adapt quickly to new facility environments and workflows

• Opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience through a 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic Emergency Department setting
• Work with a staffing partner dedicated to supporting travel nurses throughout their assignment
