American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring 2 years of experience and prior travel nursing experience.

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele (MS/Tele) unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 4x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Will consider straight 48s or 36/48 alternating schedules
• 13-week assignment length
• Required to float to other med/surg/tele units as assigned
• Cerner charting experience preferred

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
• Current certifications:
  Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

• Facility conducts its own mandatory drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing, and a positive result results in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid any products that could result in a positive drug screen, including CBD products
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
