Registered Nurse (RN) / Labor & Delivery

Odessa, Texas

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: 07/13/2026

• Provide direct nursing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor & Delivery patients
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for safe delivery of care
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
• Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Must not be a local candidate; travel candidates only

• Experience working in high-acuity Labor & Delivery settings
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced obstetrical environment

• Opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience in a travel nursing role with a defined 13-week contract
• Navy scrubs provided; no on-call requirements
