Service Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate all service calls.
• Open, post, and close all SROs (Service Repair Orders).
• Ensure service technicians are at least 80% – 85% billable.
• Submit warranty claims and follow up to ensure factory pays claims.
• Handle all shipping and receiving duties.
• Answer all incoming service department calls with minimal consultation with mechanics.
• Cold‑call old customers to schedule service work and retrieve old files for review.
• Assist in keeping all shop expenses to a minimum.
• Maintain technician log hours of billable and non‑billable work to identify efficiencies and cut costs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in oral and written communication.
• Assembly experience preferred but not required.
• Basic reading skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Customer service orientation.
• Computer navigation and utilization skills with excellent Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve problems and develop new concepts or ideas.
• High attention to detail, time management, and self‑motivation skills.
