Retail Sales Associate / Retail Customer Service (Pawnbroker)

1345 W. University Blvd., Odessa, Texas 79764.

Pay range: $12.50 – $15.00 per hour, based on experience.

We are looking for customer service driven individuals to join our retail team. You will provide a friendly, courteous, and respectful environment for customers and help them reach mutually satisfying agreements on pawn items such as jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, and more.

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, interacting in person and on the phone, and creating a positive environment.
• Process sales, loans, and extensions for pawn items.
• Perform opening and closing store duties.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Self‑motivated with a positive, outgoing personality and strong work ethic.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service, cashier, or retail experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work independently and as part of a team.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug test (performed after a conditional offer).
• Knowledge of commonly pawned items such as tools, jewelry, firearms or electronics is a plus.
• Sales background, bilingual, or other relevant skills are a plus.

Start as a trainee in a 5‑week paid training program, earn a $0.50 raise and promotion to Pawnbroker. Continue to the Pawnbroker Certification Program for an additional $1/hour, then potentially lead to Lead Pawnbroker (Shift Leader), Assistant Manager, and beyond.
