Alliance Technical Group is on the lookout for an exceptional, sales driven individual to take on the pivotal role of Business Development Manager. The starting salary is $100,000 to $120,000 base annual salary plus a generous performance bonus and uncapped commission.
The successful candidate will oversee our West Texas territory that will go into South East New Mexico and travel will be a necessity.
The position will focus on new business development and grow revenues in existing and newly assigned East Region territories. It will also build strategic market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships and project opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities- Identify, pursue, and close new clients who meet Alliance’s prospect profiles
- Build relationships with new and existing customers in the territory
- Identify and meet with partners, consultants and practices, applying active listening skills for existing and new clients’ needs
- Attend local, regional, industry-specific, and national trade shows to build brand awareness
- Serve as a subject matter expert on our products, services, and quality, and be knowledgeable about Alliance’s differentiation and unique processes
- Work with operations and technical experts to win all opportunities
- Display high levels of ethics, determination, and a desire to win
- Utilize provided tools, including Sales Force Enterprise, to manage activities, tasks, follow‑up, and identify opportunities
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Science or related field
- Experience: Minimum 3‑5 years of direct sales experience, ideally in industrial, technical, or environmental/field services sales
- Skills: Familiarity with CRM (Sales Force Enterprise or other) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and written skills; strong attention to detail; ability to pass a background and drug screen and hold a valid driver’s license
- Other: Ability to work independently, initiative, and make quality decisions; strong customer service attitude; valid driver’s license; willing to travel
Must be able to meet the physical demands of a typical office environment – sitting, standing, possible light lifting.
