The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales of microgrids, power generation systems, and fueling solutions to oilfield operators across the Permian Basin. This role plays a key part in solving power reliability challenges in remote oilfield environments by providing turnkey energy solutions tailored to field operations. The representative will build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in both production and construction departments.
Ensuring continuous off-grid power and dependable fueling for all oilfield needs.
Position Description – This position includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:
Personally visit customer sites and offices throughout the area of operations to generate sales, maintain and develop relationships, and expand current customer sales, and grow new customer base Locate new customer relationships by networking and cold calling
Close new business deals by prospecting leads, developing and negotiating pricing, and closing sales and repeat order relationships
Prioritize customer site visits daily to gain new business based on sales activity and ordering patterns
Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating pricing and using selling/closing skills and techniques
Network through various channels, both self-identified and as assigned
Protect both company’s and customer’s value by using discretion and keeping information confidential
Liaison between locations and operations to ensure customer needs are met Working knowledge of ticket placing system
Communicate with respective vendors and customers on upcoming deliveries or prospective business
Remain current on industry developments and emerging trends
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and meet company sales goals
Accomplish department and organization mission by completing related results as needed
Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints
Enhance company reputation and help grow market share/volume by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different sales requests and exploring opportunities to add value to your position
Collaborate with other sales representatives as needed to close deals, assign leads, and follow up with assigned customers
Work with Operations to schedule service work with customers
Other duties and tasks as assigned
