Sales Associate

We’re looking for part‑time Sales Associates to join our team and help create an amazing customer experience.

• Greet and assist customers promptly.
• Understand and meet customer needs through product knowledge and recommendations.
• Engage in suggestive selling and stay informed on product availability.
• Promote store events and promotions to enhance the shopping experience and drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns and offer alternative solutions, including turning returns into exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management and provide timely updates on merchandise restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback.
• Support the team to achieve store and company objectives.

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, hand‑held and mobile devices).
• Good communication skills and the ability to engage with customers.
• Ability to handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information‑gathering skills to solve problems.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on‑the‑job training.

• Frequently operate the cash register.
• Frequently move merchandise up to 25 lb and place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5‑10 ft.
• Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face‑to‑face in the store, as well as with managers and coworkers.
• Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers, as well as to and from the stock room retrieving and putting away merchandise.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekend, overnight shifts, and travel as required.
• Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and SOPs.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80 % of the time.
