This position is responsible for popping our famous butter and caramel popcorn at one of our larger branches every Friday in Odessa, TX. We are known for our popcorn at each of our branches, our members look forward to it every week. Our marketing team also takes popcorn out into the communities for events throughout the year! This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a little extra income!
- Fridays only
- Work hours:
8:00 am – 5:00 pm (includes set up/start popping and tear down/clean‑up time) - Core responsibilities:
- Popping butter and caramel popcorn
- Maintaining stock levels
- Cleaning the workstation and poppers
- Communicating with the manager for inventory
- Must be welcoming and friendly with members and team members
- Willing to receive help and ask for help from team members at the branch
- Able to stand for most of the day
- Capable of lifting oil jugs (approximately the size of a milk gallon)
- Strong communication skills are essential
- Being on time is a must
- Additionally, marketing may call on participants to pop popcorn or pre‑pop for larger events, with notice and availability required.
