Field Service Technician

Duties & Responsibilities

* Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain PFT equipment, tubing rotators, and chokes in the field and shop.

* Perform preventative maintenance services and complete service jobs independently as needed.

* Deliver, collect, and transport equipment; load/unload and properly secure materials in compliance with DOT regulations.

* Operate forklifts and lifting devices safely.

* Maintain accurate service documentation, including service tickets, bills of lading, expense reports, and inventory cycle counts.

* Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and internal teams regarding job status and issues.

* Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean and working order.

* Follow all NOV Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) policies and promote a strong safety culture.

* Complete required training and perform other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications Summary

* 2-3 years of field service or related industry experience.

* Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting and repair experience.

* Experience installing, inspecting, and maintaining oilfield or similar mechanical equipment.

* Ability to operate forklifts and safely transport materials in compliance with DOT regulations.

* Working knowledge of preventative maintenance, inventory control, and service documentation.

* Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently while maintaining safety and quality standards.
