PM Technician Class III Rotator Position
DescriptionThe PM technician Class III Rotator rotates on a 2/1, 3/1, or 3/2 schedule servicing customers and units in a designated region. As a member of the Rapid Response team the PM Technician Class III Rotator provides maintenance and inspection of the construction and mining equipment, engine or other assets as assigned. Maintenance is to be performed as defined by each manufacturer’s recommended schedule.
Dispose of waste oils, fluids and filters in accordance to State and Company regulations. Monitors quality control for work performed, and customer relations.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform Preventative Maintenance on construction type equipment.
- Must do service reports, timecards, and other paperwork in a legible, understandable manner.
- Ensure that all jobs working on are completed, and that the work was done in a proficient and safe manor.
- Complete OEM campaigns per all included documentation.
- Performs routine maintenance checks and adjustments on such things as fluid levels, hoses, belts, brakes, tires, and clutches; changes filters and oil, lubricates vehicles and motor driven equipment.
- Mentor and train new employees to ensure proper practices and safety requirements are performed.
- Make sure that the work site space that was utilized is cleaned after every job is finished.
- Must take advantage of all service schools and training programs that are offered by the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years in a Preventative Maintenance or similar role.
- Must have a mechanical aptitude.
- Must have a understanding of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its objectives.
- Must have a current driver's license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance carrier.
- Must be able to pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirement as outlined by the Department of Transportation. Working Conditions
- Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Weekend hours as necessary.
- May require work in inclement weather conditions and/or hazardous work environments.
- Some temporary adjustments to hour of operation, as work requires.
