Mechanic, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Overview

As a Mechanic your duties will include performing oil changes, inspections, outfitting, cleaning, and troubleshooting fleet vehicles and assisting with basic vehicle maintenance, detailing, and general labor.

Responsibilities

* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and inspections.

* Outfitting and cleaning of fleet vehicles.

* Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.

* Drive and manage fleet vehicles, including towing and loading/unloading.

* Respond to callouts and be on-call every other weekend.

* Perform basic mechanical tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and replacing worn parts

* Assist mechanics with repairs, tool setup, and clean-up

* Maintain a clean and organized shop environment

* Load, unload, and move equipment and supplies as needed

* Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment for maintenance or repair needs

Qualifications

* Previous experience in a shop or mechanical setting required.

* Basic mechanical knowledge (e.g., ability to change tires, check fluids, assist with repairs)

* Strong attention to detail, especially when detailing vehicles

* Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team

* Physically able to lift 50+ lbs. and perform manual labor for extended periods

* High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.
