Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and certified Plumber to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship. This role ensures plumbing systems function efficiently, safely and in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drains, fixtures, and appliances.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and implement effective solutions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building plans to plan and execute work.
- Ensure all plumbing work complies with local, state, and national codes and safety standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance on existing plumbing systems to prevent future issues.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks, proper pressure, and reliable operation.
- Communicate with clients or project supervisors about work performed, necessary repairs, and cost estimates.
- Maintain accurate job records, materials used, and time logs.
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Plumbing License/Certification recognized by the state or local jurisdiction (e.g., journeyman or master plumber license).
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance (typically 2–5+ years).
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, materials, and codes.
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with gas piping, water heater installation, and backflow prevention systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and tools.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, on ladders, and in varied environmental conditions.
- Capable of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing for extended periods.
- Work may include construction sites, residential homes, commercial facilities, and industrial environments.
- Availability for emergency service calls after hours is likely.
