We are seeking a skilled and certified HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. The ideal candidate must be safety-focused, customer-oriented, and capable of diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.

Required Qualifications
  • HVAC certification from an accredited program or trade school.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and wiring schematics.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
  • Familiarity with a variety of HVAC systems including forced air, refrigeration, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
  • Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance schedules and energy‑efficient system optimization.
  • Understanding of diverse environments such as indoor and outdoor locations, attics, mechanical rooms, rooftops, and crawl spaces.
  • Exposure to various weather conditions; adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Availability for emergency service calls after hours.
Responsibilities
  • Install, test, and commission new HVAC systems, components, and controls in compliance with codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, inspections, and cleaning of HVAC units to enhance performance and reliability.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system faults, and complete effective repairs.
  • Handle refrigerant charging, recovery, and compliance with EPA regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work orders, and technical manuals.
  • Maintain accurate work records, logs of services performed, time and materials used, and service documentation.
  • Advise customers or building managers on system operation, maintenance practices, and energy‑saving solutions.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely solutions as needed.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements while on job sites.
