PIT LINING TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities- General upkeep of well locations and mechanical repairs on equipment; construction, threading pipes, and performing mechanical hookups with pumps and valves.
- Perform general labor duties at well sites.
- Assist with construction-related tasks as needed; entry-level position requiring at least one year of experience and/or equivalent training, preferably in the energy industry.
- Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities.
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
- Operate hand and power tools and power construction equipment; tend to pumps, compressors, and generators.
- Lubricate machinery, equipment, or parts; position, align, or level machines, equipment, or structures.
- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards; clean tools, equipment, machinery and work areas.
- Perform site activities such as stick-picking, shoveling, compacting, and back filling excavations.
- Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, ramps, and other temporary structures.
- Provide assistance to craft workers as needed.
- Operate and maintain equipment safely in accordance with company policies.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions from supervisor or other company personnel.
- Willingness and ability to work in all types of weather and conditions.
- Must be physically capable of carrying out duties safely and with no difficulty.
- Must be able to work variable schedules/shifts and long hours.
- Must be able to work at heights.
- Basic knowledge of oilfield services preferred.

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
Physical Demands and Exposures- Work is regularly performed outdoors in various weather conditions; exposure to moving parts, wind, cold, heat, dust, and vibration may occur.
- Exposure to noise requiring hearing protection.
- Prolonged sitting, standing, and walking.
- Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
