With more than a century of innovation, they are seeking an Automation Support Technician to join their team in Odessa, TX.

- Provide technical support to internal teams, field technicians, and customers by diagnosing and resolving electrical, automation, and pumping unit issues.
- Support the installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and startup of equipment at customer sites.
- Assist field technicians with preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, variable speed drive (VSD) testing, and repair training.
- Deliver hands‑on training, technical presentations, and product demonstrations to internal technicians, field personnel, and customers on new technologies and system capabilities.
- Partner with engineering and field‑testing teams to evaluate new equipment and technologies in real‑world operating environments.
- Identify equipment performance issues and opportunities for improvement through hands‑on testing, applying field expertise to enhance product reliability and performance.
- Document service activities, recurring issues, and customer feedback to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with engineering and remote support teams to troubleshoot complex issues and validate new firmware and product releases.
- Maintain compliance with company safety policies and actively participate in safety meetings and initiatives.
- Troubleshoot equipment remotely and travel to customer sites as needed to support installations, commissioning, maintenance, and repair projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical, automation, and industrial communication systems.
- Extensive experience troubleshooting automation equipment in field environments.
- Knowledge of rod lift systems is preferred.
- Ability to train customers and communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, time management, and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Permian Basin to support customer operations.
