Mechanics at Cactus Wellhead are responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, machines, and vehicles at the company’s Odessa, Texas facility. This day shift position involves a variety of skilled mechanical and maintenance tasks in an industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with diesel engines and mechanical troubleshooting, and must be able to work safely around heavy machinery and hazardous materials.

• High School diploma or GED, or minimum 2 years related experience and/or training
• Minimum two years’ experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting and mechanical work on equipment and/or vehicles
• Diesel experience required
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift)
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
• Ability to work in confined spaces and operate heavy equipment and power tools
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and around moving mechanical parts
• Pre-employment drug screening, background checks, and medical examinations may be required
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
