Maintenance & Light Repair Technician - Sewell Ford Lincoln (Agriculture)
The Maintenance & Light Repair Technician is an entry‑level position designed for individuals who are mechanically inclined, customer‑focused, and eager to grow in the automotive field. This role performs vehicle maintenance, safety recalls, and light repairs using Ford‑approved processes, tools, and resources. Technicians will work directly with experienced mentors who will help guide their development and support their career progression within the dealership.
Roles & Responsibilities :- Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, fluid services, filter replacements, and multipoint inspections.
- Complete Ford recalls and light repairs following OEM guidelines and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
- Deliver efficient, high‑quality service with attention to detail.
- Follow direction from shop leadership and mentor technicians.
- Document all work performed clearly and accurately.
- Utilize Ford service information, diagnostic tools, and shop equipment safely.
- Pursue and achieve Ford Base‑Level Certification within a set timeframe.
- Becoming a mentee under a Master Technician.
- Enrolling in the Ford ASSET program.
- Advancing into a reconditioning technician role.
- The dealership provides access to Ford training modules and professional development pathways.
