Rotating Equipment Technicians
- Pipeline Pump Stations - $123,200/year
- Odessa, TX
Phillips 66 is seeking Rotating Equipment Technicians to join their team in Odessa, Texas. These professionals will be responsible for maintaining and repairing pipeline pump stations and associated rotating equipment. The ideal candidates are safety-focused, mechanically skilled, and able to work independently in a dynamic oil and gas environment. - High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Must live/relocate within 1 hour of reporting location
- Travel at least 25% of the time
- 2 or more years of experience changing mechanical seals and general pump knowledge
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs up to 40 feet
- Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work outside in harsh weather conditions
- Ability to work alone a high percentage of the time
- On call 24 hours a day, with scheduled or unscheduled overtime as needed
- Wear fire-retardant clothing and other PPE
- Maintain face daily for proper respirator/face mask seal
- 5 or more years of maintenance and/or mechanical experience in oil and gas field operations or similar production environment
- 5 or more years of experience with rotating equipment
- Certified level 1 vibration analysis or willingness to attain certification
- Motion Amplification I certified
- MLT I (Machinery Lubrication Technician) certified
- OQ Evaluator
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and SAP
- Working knowledge of OSHA and Department of Transportation code requirements
- Proficient in API 610, 682 and 686 standards
- Experience with electric digital and analog circuitry, including drawings and schematics
- Willingness to be trained on Rosemount transmitter calibrations, Allen Bradley PLC’s, electrical motors and starters, Rotork actuator installation and maintenance
