This is a full-time, on-site Field Service Technician role based in Odessa, TX. The Field Service Technician installs, operates, monitors, and maintains water management equipment such as pumps, piping systems, filtration units, and related controls at customer job sites. Daily responsibilities include inspecting equipment, performing routine and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical issues, and ensuring systems run safely and efficiently.
The role involves working outdoors in varying conditions, loading and unloading equipment, completing service reports, and communicating clearly with customers, dispatch, and project managers. The technician follows company safety standards, supports emergency or after-hours service needs when required, and contributes to a professional and reliable service experience for all clients.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining, repairing, or assembling industrial equipment, pumps, engines, or related systems.
- Basic electrical knowledge, including reading simple schematics, using diagnostic tools, and safely working around power systems.
- Field service skills such as troubleshooting in remote locations, performing site inspections, and documenting work performed accurately.
- Safety-focused mindset with knowledge of OSHA or similar safety standards, and consistent use of PPE and safe work practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities, including clear customer interaction and collaboration with supervisors and crew members.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift and move heavy equipment, and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; ability to operate company vehicles and potentially tow equipment trailers.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in construction, industrial services, utilities, or water management is preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional nights, weekends, or on-call shifts to support project needs.
