Maintenance Technician - City of Odessa
The City of Odessa is looking for a hands-on Utilities Maintenance Technician to help keep our water and wastewater plants running safely and efficiently. You'll repair equipment, install piping, and help maintain mechanical systems at multiple city facilities.
What You'll Do:- Repair pumps, pipes, and structural equipment
- Use tools to clean and fix plant machinery
- Inspect tanks, basins, and reservoirs
- Respond to emergencies and safety issues
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with pumps, motors, and mechanical systems
- Comfortable working outdoors, in tight spaces, and at heights
- Able to use power tools and drive mid-size trucks
- Available for 24-hour on-call work
