This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Technician role based in Odessa, TX. The Mechanical Technician will inspect, maintain, and repair pump systems and related mechanical equipment in shop and field settings. Responsibilities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, completing repairs and component replacements, and assisting with equipment installation and alignment. The role involves using hand and power tools, reading technical drawings and service manuals, documenting work performed, and following safety procedures and company standards.

The Mechanical Technician will collaborate with service teams and customers to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

• Strong equipment maintenance skills, including hands-on experience with rotating equipment, pump systems, and associated mechanical components.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance practices, including scheduled inspections, lubrication, and part replacement to reduce failures and extend equipment life.
• Solid troubleshooting abilities, including diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues in pump and fluid handling systems.
• Demonstrated maintenance and repair skills, including disassembly, rebuilding, alignment, and testing of mechanical equipment.
• General maintenance capabilities, including use of tools, adherence to safety protocols, and accurate completion of service reports.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Comfort working in industrial environments and complying with OSHA and company safety standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical or industrial maintenance is preferred.
• Previous experience in pump service, industrial maintenance, or related mechanical roles is beneficial.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a service team.
