What this job involves – Facilities Technician - entry level is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work and are eager to learn about building maintenance. As an entry‑level facilities technician, you'll be part of a team responsible for maintaining and improving our building's functionality, appearance, and safety. We value a positive attitude and willingness to learn over extensive experience.

• Assisting with basic building repairs and maintenance tasks
• Helping with painting interior and exterior surfaces
• Performing simple plumbing tasks, such as unclogging drains
• Changing light bulbs and assisting with basic electrical work
• Removing bad miners and installing new/repaired miners
• 50 lbs. +
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Learning to use various tools and equipment safely
• Assisting experienced technicians with more complex tasks
• Responding to and completing work orders in a timely manner

• This position requires frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working/extending overhead, including:
• Walking large, campus-like settings
• Lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Climbing stairs and navigating rooftops to access equipment
• Using ladders up to 30 ft and working from heights
• Ability to climb a ladder with a 300‑lb weight limit

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team setting
• Basic computer skills
• Reliability and punctuality
• Customer service orientation

• Some experience or interest in building maintenance, construction, or related fields
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Basic understanding of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)
