Ensign is seeking highly experienced, capable Drillers.

The Driller leads the crew, directs activity on the rig floor, and makes critical operational decisions.

From the driller’s cyber chair, the Driller operates the drilling equipment, turns the bit, trips pipe, and manages the well as drilling progresses. This role combines skilled equipment operation with frontline supervision and accountability for the floor crew’s safety and productivity.

• Preferably 5+ years as a Driller on a Super Spec rig
• Strong hands-on experience with modern drilling systems, including understanding the capabilities and limitations of super-spec rig technology
• Proven ability to read and interpret drilling data (weight indicator, torque, pump pressure) to sense downhole conditions
• Demonstrable experience of consistently successfully meeting Drilling Performance Metrics (KPIs)
• Must Have Well Control Certification (IWCF or IADC Well Sharp).
