Utility Person II; CMD_

Scope of Work:

As a Utility Person II, you will operate a forklift to move parts, load and unload equipment, handle shipping/receiving of parts from manufacturers, customers and various other sources, clean and prep equipment for shipment and storage. Other duties as assigned.

• Keep shop clean and organized.
• Perform general maintenance on equipment and buildings.
• Pick‑up and delivery as required.
• Maintain steam cleaner/parts cleaner equipment.
• Ensure that material/components removed from vat are properly cleaned and organized.
• Steam clean parts, engines and other equipment.
• Assist technicians as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in a Utility Person position.
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver license with a clean driving record.

• Must have the ability to effectively operate forklifts.
• Must have the ability to effectively operate a steam cleaner/parts cleaner.
• Must have the ability to effectively operate general hand tools.
• Must have the ability to effectively operate overhead cranes.
• Must have good organizational skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

• Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Some occasional extended hours may be required.
• Sitting; occasional bending or kneeling; lift and carry a maximum of 50 Lbs., reach overhead for lightweight items.
• Shop and outside work.
