Safely operate heavy equipment at a recycling center, landfill, or transfer station to transfer, spread, cover, load, and/or compact waste or soil;
Perform pre- and post-operation inspections and maintain equipment in accordance with policy;
Monitor waste for unacceptable material and ensure equipment is operationally ready to minimize downtime;
Complete Equipment Condition Reports and report repairs to supervisor;
Maintain a clean and serviced shop at end of shift and adhere to safety policies
