Truck Driver - Local Class A

Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers

• Average $77,422 Annually

• Local, home daily

• Perform multi‑stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
• 10 stops and 10 drop and hooks per week

• Dispatch time 6 pm
• 5‑day schedule:
  Monday through Friday
• Average 45 to 50 hours per week
• Home daily

• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Current or ability to obtain a non‑exempted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• English language proficiency required for compliance with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2))
• Work the required schedule, complete Penske employment application, submit to background investigation (past employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening
• Compliance with Department of Transportation regulations or safety‑sensitive designation; must work in a constant state of alertness and safe behavior; accept responsibility for own safety and the safety of others

• Must see and hear; vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Must move frequently, stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms; lift up to 50 lbs/23 kg routinely and up to 100 lbs/45 kg occasionally
• Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit vehicle and rear cargo area
