JOB OVERVIEW

Reeder Distributors is seeking an experienced and safety-driven Fuel Bobtail Driver to join our team in Odessa, TX.

This is a local, home daily position with consistent routes and strong earning potential. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of fuel products to our customers.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of DOT regulations, terminal procedures, and hazardous material handling, along with a commitment to safety and customer service.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining the reliable service our customers have trusted for over 50 years.

SHIFT AND SCHEDULE
  • Full-time position
  • Monday through Saturday, or as business needs require
  • Home daily
  • Average of 55 hours per week
COMPENSATION
  • $95,000 - $135,000 annually (based on experience and performance)
  • Weekly pay
  • $2,000 sign-on bonus
  • Overtime opportunities
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all vehicles and fuel equipment
  • Safely transport fuel products to and from terminals and customer locations
  • Load and unload product following proper safety procedures
  • Accurately complete delivery logs, fuel tickets, and required documentation
  • Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly
  • Maintain assigned truck and equipment in clean, working condition
  • Follow all federal, state, and company safety regulations
  • Provide professional and reliable customer service at all times
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and accountability
What You'll Need
  • Minimum of 2 years of fuel delivery experience required - no exceptions
  • Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements
  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission
  • Strong knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and Hazmat regulations
  • Clean driving record with no serious violations
  • Ability to lift, climb, bend, and perform physical tasks safely
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Must not be listed as "Driver Prohibited" in the FMCSA Clearinghouse
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of CDL A tanker or bobtail experience
