Warehouse Associate

NAPA Auto Parts is seeking skilled and energetic Warehouse Associates to join our growing team. Our Warehouse Associates expedite incoming and outgoing freight, focusing primarily on receiving, stocking, pulling, staging, loading, and shipping merchandise. As a Warehouse Associate, you will process inventory, maximize warehouse space usage by moving the right auto parts to the right place with safety, precision, and speed, using an electronic scanner to pull parts, packing and loading them for shipment.

Responsibilities
  • Bend to floor‑level shelves and reach to upper shelves (up to eight feet) using a stool or ladder when necessary.
  • Stand and walk for the entire work shift.
  • Operate warehouse machinery in accordance with established safety protocols and procedures as needed to maintain warehouse stock.
Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a clean driving record.
  • Pre‑employment drug test and background check required.
  • Ability to maneuver heavy equipment using hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Forklift certification a plus.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
  • Clear speaking and attentive listening skills.
  • Positive and professional attitude.
  • Time management skills.
  • Must be able to follow instructions.
  • Strength to lift and move merchandise up to 60 pounds.
  • Work independently and accurately to complete assigned duties in a timely manner.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Motivated to train and learn.
  • Team player and work well with others.
  • Desire to go above and beyond the job description.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
