Theopportunity
We’re expanding into a second office in the Metro East / Greater St. Louis region and want to build that office around the right advisor. This isn’t a traditional hire — it’s a chance to plant a flag. The location of the new office will be determined in part by where your existing client relationships are concentrated, so you’re not being placed somewhere;
you’re helping build something.
As a Lead Advisor, your focus is entirely on the client relationship — designing financial plans, leading meetings, and serving as the trusted point of contact for the households in your book. You won’t be cold calling or chasing new business. CWP generates leads and prospects through marketing and referrals. Your job is to take exceptional care of the clients you bring and the ones we send your way.
Whatyou’ll do
- Serve as lead advisor for a growing book of client households — own the relationship from the first meeting through annual reviews and every call in between
- Build and deliver comprehensive financial plans using tools including Right Capital, Wealthbox, Tamarac, YCharts, and
- Collaborate closely with CWP’s investment management and tax planning specialists to deliver integrated advice
- Represent CWP in your local community — we believe in giving back as part of who we are
- Contribute to a growing firm where your input on process and client experience is genuinely valued
- 3–10 years of experience as a financial advisor or wealth manager
- A portable book of $10M or more in AUM — clients who trust you and have followed you before
- Someone who thrives on deep, long‑term client relationships rather than chasing new business
- Collaborative, humble, and community‑minded
- Located in, or willing to relocate to, the Metro East / Greater St. Louis area
- Competitive base salary ($100,000–$120,000)
- A percentage of the revenue you manage
