PTS is a therapist-owned company based in Peoria and Belleville, IL, employing over 375 professionals across a variety of settings, including:
- St. Elizabeth’s and Touchette hospitals (Southern IL)
- Home Health, Inpatient, Outpatient, and Skilled Nursing Facilities
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you ll work under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver evidence-based treatment and support patient recovery across diverse populations.
Qualifications- Licensed or license-eligible in Illinois (Physical Therapy Practice Act)
- CPR certification
- APTA membership preferred
- Experience treating various age groups (neonates to geriatrics) preferred
- Valid driver s license
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Review patient information and implement the plan of care
- Deliver effective, evidence-based treatment
- Document and report on patient progress
- Monitor treatment outcomes and communicate results
- Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
- Work collaboratively with your team and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- A positive, patient-first attitude
- Respect for patient privacy and confidentiality
- Teamwork, initiative, and commitment to excellence
