A client of Insight Global is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to support the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable cloud environments in a complex and classified setting. This individual will lead cloud solution implementations and migrations, leveraging AWS services and ECS container platforms to ensure reliable, high-performing infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with development, operations, and business teams to provide technical guidance, ensure security and compliance, and optimize cloud performance and costs. Responsibilities include monitoring and improving AWS resource utilization, implementing security controls, managing cloud spend, and mentoring team members on cloud technologies. A strong commitment to staying current with AWS innovations and cloud best practices is essential for success in this role.
