Secret Cleared Elastic Engineer
Our client, a leading software development company, is looking for a Secret Cleared Elastic Engineer for an initial 7 month contract position, located in O'Fallon, Illinois. The consultant will be working onsite, 5 days a week. They will be supporting a Splunk migration to Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes, including new cluster installation;
Potential integration with Cribl; ECK deployment and configuration;
Monitoring of the ECK environment;
Dashboard creation and platform observability. They will help deploy Elastic on Kubernetes (ECK) to build a new SIEM platform.
Required Skills:
- Active DoD Secret Level Clearance
- Experience with Splunk migrations to Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes
- Experience with new cluster installation and management
- Experience with integrations with Cribl
- Experience with ECK deployment, configuration, and monitoring
- Experience with data ingestion
- Experience with dashboard creation and platform observability
- Experience with infrastructure and deployment activities
- Experience with Git Ops methodologies using Flux, managing container registries (Artifactory), and implementing Infrastructure as Code via Terraform
- AWS networking (Transit Gateways, F5, Palo Alto) and the ability to configure data pipelines (Logstash) to meet government compliance requirements like data forking to S3
- Must be able to be onsite in O'Fallon, Illinois

The posted range is an estimate, the actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications and will be in line with internal equity.
