Role Overview

Memorial Shiloh Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum PT Nights; 12 hour shifts. 4th weekend and 3rd holiday rotation. Up to $3,750 sign‑on bonus. Competitive pay (see career ladder below). BSN differential. Shift differential. Benefits eligible.

Memorial Hospital Shiloh is a 94‑bed, all‑private suite hospital recognized with Magnet status. It offers emergency care, labor & delivery, nursery, medical and surgical services and critical care. The MHE Family Care Birthing Center Labor & Delivery provides admission, medical care, transfer or discharge of obstetric and neonatal patients.

Role Purpose

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care.

Responsibilities
  • Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
  • Educates patients and their families on how to manage illness or injury, including post‑treatment home care needs and medication administration.
  • Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Participates in professional development.
  • Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patients, families or caregivers.
  • Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care, assessing patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care.
Minimum Requirements

Education:

Nursing Diploma/Associate’s in Nursing.

Experience

No experience required.

Licenses & Certifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license. Preference for Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
